“Jesus led the blind man far away from his familiar spot. He put saliva on His hands, laid them on the man’s eyes, then asked, “Can you see anything?”
The man looked around. “I see people, but not in focus. They look like trees walking around.”
Jesus placed his hands on the man’s eyes again, and they became completely restored, and he could see everything clearly.” (Mark 8.23-25)
Don’t let what you can’t yet see, or the unexpected place you find yourself, become an offense that keeps you stuck out of focus. Never stop trusting God to help you see life as He does. Stop waiting for circumstances to line up. They’re probably not going to until you move forward. Take the next step in confidence- not because you know the outcome, but because you know God loves you wildly, and is more committed than you to training you to become all that He sees in you.
Be intentional with the love God He gives you. Bless and thank Him for all the good in your life, and bless yourself with who He is for you and who you are in Him. Bless everyone you meet today in your true identity, that of a completely loved, secure, joyful, brilliant son or daughter of God.
Stop waiting to become, and just be the person God says you are.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5.17).
Stop performing and qualifying for love, and simply love and be loved.
“The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying, ‘Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love, with loving kindness I have drawn you'” (Jeremiah 31.3).
Stop getting ready to go and go- do all that God has put on your heart with confidence and joy.
“Not that I have really got a handle on everything, or am anywhere near complete, but still I will press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me” (Philippians 3).
