Stop it. Stop trying to figure God out with your head before going after what He has put in your heart. Your logical mind and your past experiences can’t fully translate the language He is speaking to heal, transform, and prepare your heart for the next step in your journey. God invented math and music and physics and platypuses. There is order in His universe, but with us, He is relational above all else.
Revelation that doesn’t lead to an encounter and greater relationship with God just makes you more religious.
Breathe. Release your stress and anxiety, and all the expectations on your shoulders. Let yourself listen for His voice. Listen to how He sees you, how incredible He thinks you are, how deep His love is for you. Listen to who He wants to be for you today, which is exactly what you need right now.
Your brain is welcome to help find the best ways to live out the love, joy, peace, and wisdom He is giving you. Just don’t let it lead the dance.
