There’s an eternal difference between knowing God who is truth and making truth a god. The deviation usually happens when I leave God’s presence to prove I’m right.
The world needs truth more than ever, but truth is a person. If my words and actions don’t create an opportunity for someone to have an encounter with the nature, character, and person of Jesus, then it’s really just my opinion.
Even if I manage to demonstrate some measure of objective fact, without His presence, without love, truth becomes a weapon, my Zeus-bolt of judgment instead of a gift of revelation and transformation.
The world needs your personal opinion far less than it needs your purposeful blessing.
