There is no hopelessness in heaven. If you’re a follower of Jesus, then you’re a child of God (John 1:12, Gal. 3:26), and a citizen of heaven (Phil. 3:20, Eph. 2:6 & 19). Therefore, hopelessness is never part of the “burden” of your life in Christ, not a piece of the “yoke” He carries with you (Matt. 11:30).
You do bear a cross, and at times it’s difficult. But all the hopelessness of humanity was already put on Jesus’ cross. It’s not yours to bear. On the contrary, Jesus has won for you faith, hope, and love. They are with you always, to help you brilliantly carry the gifts and callings that are yours, and to reveal, disempower, and overcome all the hopelessness in this world that isn’t.
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” (Romans 15:13).
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light” (Matt. 11:28-30).
