Thank Your Way Through

Just as your choice to be bitter tortures your thoughts, constrains your relationships, and limits your opportunities, your choice to be grateful renews your mind, transforms how you see and relate to others, and makes room for miracles.

Take a deep breath. Relax your physical shoulders, and let the burdens God never gave you fall off your spiritual ones. Thank God for one good thing in your life. And another. And another. Thank him for his love for you.

You’ve been through difficult and damaging challenges, but they don’t get to define or control you. Every moment spent in thankfulness is draining power from them and opening your heart to God. Let him show you how greatly you’ve been supported through it all. You’re weren’t alone then, and you’re not alone now. Take on the rest of your day with confidence, peace, joy, and contagious gratefulness.

“The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving” (Psalm 28:7).
