Run, Soar, Rest, Run

Training, competing, overcoming, succeeding—they’re all part of the human spirit. But if your innermost definition of success is anything other than pleasing God simply because he loves you, your spirit will never be content.

The one who’s stronger, faster, and smarter than you tomorrow will write your story. The expectations and judgments of others will constrain your heart and control your mind. You’ll get stuck in what was—or might have been—and miss what God is saying about living fully right now, and how he’s preparing you to be amazing tomorrow.

Be excellent—never stop learning, growing, and trying. Do great things—get bigger dreams and make them real. Overcome your fears, defeat giants, and conquer mountains. Live your life as an adventure. But in everything you do, and all you are, let your relationship with Jesus bring meaning to it all.
