Rest Up

Don’t believe the enemy’s lie you have to keep enduring this season—or this day—in frustration and exhaustion before you can crawl into a little bit of rest. In Jesus, you’re always at rest—a rest, peace, and grace so powerful, you’re able to overwhelm every lie, fear, temptation, and rejection, and overcome all your circumstances brilliantly. You’re empowered to work in rest, play in rest, and create an atmosphere around you in which others can joyfully experience His rest with you.

Take a deep breath or two. Ask Jesus to speak to your heart about what’s on His. Let what He tells you invade every dark area of your heart, and every negative thought in your mind. Let the Prince of Peace be just that.

“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7).
