
“Count it all joy when you’re surrounded by circumstances that test your heart” (James 1:2).
This isn’t a “fake it ’til you make it” verse. There isn’t one. “Count it all joy” means you’re empowered by Jesus to live in joy despite your circumstances. It means the grace God has made available for your situation is far greater than the situation itself. It means that instead of letting this day drain you, you’re going to stay aware of God’s presence, and become stronger, wiser, and more joyful. It means you’re able to breathe.
