I’m thinking about a dream I had last year. Actually, I think about it a lot. Jesus showed me three great halls, so large I couldn’t see the farthest walls of any, or be certain of their height. The first was stone, partly carved, but mostly rough cavern. It had what looked like exercise equipment and obstacle courses, the kind you’d expect in a ninja warrior gym, or a video game fantasy world. There were countless pieces of gear, armor, weapons, and unique sparring areas.
The second was a library with books beyond count, all written from the perspective of heaven. Both fiction and non–fiction to instruct, encourage, inspire, bless, and renew the mind and heart of anyone who would read them. I picked up one that intrigued me but I didn’t recognize, and my impression was that most of the books here had not been physically written yet.
The third was even more surprising. As I stood with Jesus, it transformed from a castle banqueting hall to a clifftop overlooking the ocean, then to an oasis in the desert, and a pathway through an ancient forest. In each scene, there was a display of food. Some scenes had huge tables with many chairs, others just a blanket on the ground. The food was always different, but amazing, and I could feel it was exactly what you’d want to eat in each of those places.
When the moment seemed right to ask what these were, he answered me before I could get the words out: “These are Faith, Hope, and Love.”
“Are we in heaven then?” I asked.
“No, we’re in your head.” Knowing I was dumbfounded, and a bit weirded out, he put his hand on my shoulder. “These realms came to life in you the moment you gave your heart to me. I am with you in each one—to train, equip, heal, strengthen, transform, and bless you. But it’s up to you how much.”

Beautiful. Makes you think of the possibilities.
