“We’re God’s handiwork. He’s created us anew in Jesus Christ so we can accomplish all the goodness he’s purposed for us” (Eph. 2:10).
The word “handiwork” is “poiema,” which shares the same root from which we get our word “poem.” You are God’s lyric masterpiece.
Before doing anything else today, spend some time with God, and let him read to you a little more of the poem he’s written for your life. There you’ll find all the equipping, encouragement, and empowerment you need to live in the faith, hope, and love he’s inscribed in you.
“Your life demonstrates you are a letter from Christ . . . written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone, but on your hearts” (2 Cor. 3:3).
