This is Cancer Survivors Day. I’m grateful it’s observed, but I’m thankful to have more time on Earth every day, not just this one. It may seem mawkish, but to me, each day really is a gift.
Once in a while someone asks why I rarely write on political or social issues. It’s not because they’re not important, or I don’t have opinions. It’s because I got a vivid preview of what’s really of value at the end of all the debates. Faith, hope, and love—there’s a good reason the Bible says these are the things that last. #CancerSurvivorsDay
