“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened down, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).
“The kingdom of God is…righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit” (Romans 14:17).
“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control” (Galatians 5:22).
“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! (1 John 3:1).
“I am convinced nothing can ever separate us from God’s love…not our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow. Not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love” (Romans 8:3).
“Love is patient and kind…Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. These three remain forever- faith, hope, and love. And the greatest of these is love” (1 Corinthians 13:4-8,13).
“I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine” (Song of Songs 6:3).
Just a little of what’s available to you every moment of every day. You have all His love and more to choose from to deal with your day. Whatever is trying to frighten, depress, or control you has no chance against love, joy, and peace. Don’t settle for less. Don’t believe the enemy’s lies you’ve disqualified yourself from love. In Christ, you are completely, perfectly, and eternally loved.
Before you do anything else today, take time to soak your heart and head in that love. Then give it away. In compassion and healing. In encouragement and blessing. In wisdom, creativity, and joy. You are His Beloved, so be loved, and be love.
