Love Note

If you take time to think about how much God really loves you, remembering what he’s already done in your life, and all he’s said about who you’re becoming in him, then the challenges you’re facing aren’t so much a leap of faith, as they are an opportunity to try out the new wings he’s given you.

I wrote this prayer for myself a couple years ago, but if it resonates with you today, find a quiet spot with God, and read it out loud to him:

“Jesus, I know you love me completely and constantly. I’m learning more about what that looks like in my life every day. Your love has redeemed me, healed me, and is my source of strength, peace, and joy.

You are both my Lord, and my best friend. I am who you say I am. I’m becoming who you’ve said I can be. My identity in you isn’t a slave to the judgments, expectations, or opinions of others. My past teaches me, but doesn’t define me. My story is yours, and yours is mine.

I’m living at the right time, and for an eternal purpose. No matter what’s going on, or what anyone else says or does, every day is an opportunity to experience and demonstrate ever–increasing faith, hope, and love all around me. Starting now.”

  1. I just want to say how much I appreciate so much all that you share from what the Lord has put in you and it means so much. I am grateful for you and what you bring to the body of Christ.
