I know 11/11 is Veterans Day, and the centennial of the end of WWI. But I also keep thinking of Hebrews 11:11: “Abraham and Sarah had faith to receive miraculous strength to have a child when she was past the typical age, because they believed God is faithful with his promises.”

Whether you’re looking for breakthrough in your spiritual, emotional, or physical life—or all of them—trust that God is always the one who is faithful first. When your own faith rests on his unwavering faithfulness toward you, you won’t exhaust yourself relying on your own strength. Faith founded and growing in God’s love for you will be more than enough to overwhelm every fear, overcome any offense, and accomplish all the desires of your heart.

“I’ve never quit loving you, and never will. Expect love, love, and more love!” (Jer. 31:3b, MSG).
