This is a soldanelle. Even when it’s buried under a crushing weight of ice and snow, it grows. It stores the sun’s energy in its roots, then creates a bubble of warmth around the flower bud as it keeps pushing through the ice until it breaks into the sun again.
I pray your experiences with God are so wonderful, transforming, and powerful they become a constant atmosphere of warmth and light in and around you, enabling you to break through every wall of ice you encounter in your life.
“Jesus said, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life’” (John 8:12).
