Your battles may be complicated and involve others, but they’re still about your identity. Remember that, or you can lose yourself in them. Every day you have opportunities to deal with your life as the royal heir God says you are, or as the powerless failure the enemy accuses you of being.
Know that at all times you’re empowered in God’s grace to stop trudging through the enemy’s grounds of fear, bitterness, pain, lies, and confusion, and see all your circumstances from your Father’s presence in the joy, hope, strength, confidence, and peace all his sons and daughters have inherited.
“You’re no longer a slave to the spiritual forces of this world, because God has made you his child—an heir of all he is, and all he has” (Galatians 4:7).
