“Not a single one of all the good promises the Lord had given to the family of Israel was left unfulfilled; everything he had spoken came true” (Joshua 21:45).
I know this verse was directed at Israel a long time ago, but God keeps bringing it to my mind. He is still good. So, so good. If you don’t mind, I’m taking it personally. And you’re welcome to share.
Bring to mind every good thing God has said to you, and done in your life. Stir up every gift and blessing he’s given you. Breathe in the confidence of his love and faithfulness toward you. Let your thoughts keep going first to his peace, and your feelings to his joy. Live in his grace, kindness, and goodness until all he’s said becomes reality.
