I’ve shared this before, but I thought perhaps someone could use the reminder besides me. I wrote it when the chemo caused mucositis, some of the most intense pain I’ve ever experienced:
One day at a time,
One hour at a time,
One breath at a time,
You are with me, Jesus.
I may not always understand why things happen, but I know who always walks with me through them.
