Just looking through my FB Memories for this day. This is from 12/12/12:
“A year ago, I was sitting in my car outside a store while Christmas shopping. My chest hurt like crazy, I was dizzy, sick to my stomach, and still unaware a huge lymphoma tumor was growing in my chest.
I am so grateful to be here a year later, a little beat up, but able to enjoy another December. I get to live my life and interact with amazing people today. I get to experience and express God’s love here on earth.”
I’m still so thankful to be here, and so glad you’re here too. No matter what you’re dealing with, remind yourself you’re still alive, and you get to determine how much peace, joy, faith, hope, and love you’re going to live in today.
“I would’ve lost my heart a long time ago, if I weren’t confident of experiencing the Lord’s goodness each day here, in the land of the living” (Psalm 27:13, paraphrase).
