When you look at all of this on your own, it’s easy to be overcome with anxiety, anger, or fear of what new apocalyptic delight the day might bring. So don’t. Don’t look at any part of this without God.
Faith, hope, and love aren’t ethereal idealism. They’re who you are in Jesus. Faith is your confidence in life because of his faithfulness in yours. Hope is your strength through adversity because of his unrelenting goodness through everything that’s not. Love is your enduring reality and constant mindset, because it’s who he is and how he always sees you.
No matter what anyone says, does, or doesn’t do today, you get to face it standing in God’s presence. You get to be confident, strong, and to bring all the love, joy, peace, patience, and kindness you need to overcome it.
