God’s peace in you is infinitely greater than the chaos around you. You never have to allow anyone’s bitterness bully you into putting up walls, or let their insecurity drain your intimacy with God.
Even if someone—or everyone—around you is in a hostile mood, when you’re aware of what God is saying and doing, you’re the most powerful person in the room. Your overflowing peace, joy, kindness, hope, wisdom, and grace can transform hearts and renew minds.
“Don’t be anxious and afraid. The world may abandon you, but I never will. In fact, I’m imparting my peace to you, so you’ll always be aware of my presence” (John 14:27).
