At first, grace is a clean slate, which you then use to keep track of your service for God.
Later you realize you no longer need to work for God’s love, and you see grace as the power to do all you believe he’s called you to.
But then there’s a day you can’t take another step in your own strength, and he comes to carry, heal, and transform you, and you understand grace is really another name for Jesus.
“He answered me, ‘My grace is always more than enough for you. In fact, my power finds its full expression through your weakness.’ So, I will actually celebrate my weaknesses, for when I’m weak, I sense more deeply the mighty power of Christ living in me” (2 Corinthians 12:9).
