“Count it all joy when you’re surrounded by circumstances that test your heart” (James 1:2).
This isn’t a “fake it ’til you make it” verse. There isn’t one. “Count it all joy” means you’re empowered by Jesus to live in joyful confidence regardless of what’s happening around you. It means the grace God has made available for your circumstances is far greater than the circumstances themselves. It means that instead of letting this day drain you, you can stay aware of God’s presence and become stronger, wiser, and truly joyful. It means that mask or no, you’re able to breathe.
