“You keep in perfect peace all whose hearts trust in you, all whose minds rest in your presence” (Isaiah 26:3).
Let this verse sink in. You don’t keep your peace by striving or performing for it, or by figuring out everything else in your life first. God is the one who keeps you in peace, and your part is to receive it by resting in him. I love that “perfect peace” is “shalom shalom,” peace upon peace, never ending, always accessible, and more than enough.
