It doesn’t take faith to judge what’s obviously broken or missing. Faith speaks to what’s possible despite what’s broken or missing. Faith is agreeing with how God sees a person, city, or nation, and tenaciously expressing the life he’s made available for them. Beginning with yourself.
“The high priest and his sect were incensed by the healings and miracles happening in the streets, especially in front of the temple. So they had the disciples arrested and imprisoned to stop them. But an angel came at night and set them free, telling them, ‘Go right back to the temple and keep speaking to everyone all the words of this life!’” (Acts 5:17-20, paraphrase).
