Something I need to remind myself every so often:
Humility isn’t weakness. Humility is the strength to stay in God’s presence, no matter how you’re provoked to fight outside of it.
Humility isn’t cowardice. Humility is the courage to refuse to crush someone’s spirit, because you believe protecting a heart is infinitely more valuable than dominating it.
Humility isn’t surrender. Humility is a superpower combination of love, gentleness, and self-control that overcomes everything which isn’t.
“Pride brings dishonor, but with humility comes wisdom” (Proverbs 11:2).
