When your to-do list looks like it needs a table of contents, step back from focusing on the problems—what they are, how to fix them, and what they may cost you.
Start chapter one with what God is saying to you—how brilliantly he sees you, who he wants to be for you through all the chaos, and how completely and unceasingly you’re loved, regardless of how many tasks you accomplish today.
“We’re not overwhelmed by what we see with our eyes, because we live by faith—by what we can see with our hearts” (2 Corinthians 5:7, paraphrase).
