When You’re Not Up to the Task

Jesus said there would be hardship in this world, but to be encouraged, because he’s already overcome it (John 16:33). It’s another way of saying his grace is more than enough for what you’re going through.

If you’re not up to the task of dealing with this day, it’s okay, because he is. An invasion of stress, heartache, or fear doesn’t mean the enemy is in control of your life. It means God has made more than enough faith, hope, and love available to overcome them.

“I’ve never quit loving you and never will. Expect love, love, and more love! And so now I’ll start over with you, and build you up again” (Jer. 31:3b-4a, MSG).
