If the truth sets you free, then lies hold you captive. What lies have you been agreeing with that are holding you back from becoming all God sees you as?
The difficulties are real, but they don’t get to define your identity. They’re certainly not how God sees you. He knows every fear, fault, and failure, but he still sees you as his brilliant child, fully capable of becoming all he’s said to your heart.
You are loved. Completely and perfectly loved. That’s the truth, and nothing can change it. I’m praying you’ll allow his love to transform how you see yourself, your relationships, and your circumstances, until no lie can hold you back.
These challenges you’re facing aren’t trying to keep you from your dreams. They’re training you to live them.
“Don’t let yourself be defined by this world. Let God transform you into a new person by renewing your mind and changing how you think. Then you’ll learn his heart’s desires for you, which are always good, rewarding, and complete you” (Romans 12:2, paraphrase).
