Hurt people hurt people, and healed people heal people. And every day—sometimes every hour—it’s up to you which process you’re going to live in.
But before that thought becomes overwhelming, renew your mind and encourage your heart by remembering you’re never alone in this, and completing it doesn’t rely on your strength.
“I’ve learned to be content with whatever I have, to live on almost nothing, or with everything. Whether it’s with a full stomach or empty, the secret of living through any circumstance is not relying on my own strength, but knowing I can do everything through Christ, who gives me all the strength I need” (Philippians 4:11b-13, paraphrased).
