Unburdened

In case you’ve forgotten, your worth as a child of God doesn’t come from how much you can carry. In fact, Jesus loves when you either let him shoulder burdens with you, or allow him to help you release the ones that aren’t yours to bear at all.

Your worth to him never changes. He loves you because he loves you. He loves you completely, perfectly, and unceasingly. And the more weight of your relationships and responsibilities you give him, the freer you’ll be to live in it.

”Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly (Matthew 11:28-30, MSG).”
