Eating Well

I was reading John 6, and looked up the word for “food” in verse 27. ” It struck me that it can mean both “meat” and “rust,” in reference to what we feed of our souls. The thoughts we feed ourselves with either strengthen and nourish the heart and mind, or they’re corrosive, eating away at the soul. Many of us are trying to eat better physical foods, but the key to a healthier life starts with an upgrade in your thinking, seeing yourself and your world as God does. May all you take in today be super healthy, and taste amazing.

“Why would you strive for food that is perishable, and not be passionate to seek the food of eternal life, which never spoils? I, the Son of Man, am ready to give you what matters most, for God the Father has destined me for this purpose” (John 6:27).

  1. I can relate… in love and relationships, God knows, our thoughts lead to actions. What we think either promotes constructive, healthy actions or corruptive, harmful ones. Thanks for digging deeper. His word reveals so much.
