Fear makes horrible decisions. Kill it first thing in the morning by filling your heart and mind with God’s thoughts for you:
“Remind me of your steadfast love every morning. I trust you with all I am, Lord. Show me the way I should go” (Psalm 143:8).
And if it reanimates later in the day like a brain-eating zombie, cut off its head:
“I am convinced nothing can ever separate us from God’s love, neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow. Not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love” (Romans 8:38).
