“Jesus chose the twelve so they would be with him, and so he could equip them to speak and have authority over sickness and the enemy” (Mark 3:14-15).
One of the most simple, but profound truths in the Bible is that Jesus wants to be with you. You get to live in his presence every day—in his love, grace, peace, wisdom, and power—and from that place overflow all he is, transforming lives and displacing every evil in front of you.
Remember that, especially when you feel like the world doesn’t make sense, and you’re facing it alone. You are always loved, and always wanted. Everything changes when you stop thinking of life as an unending list of things you have to do on your own, and instead see it as the amazing adventure Jesus has invited you to go on with him.
