The Slow Path

I love praying for healing, and I love instantaneous miracles. But some healing is slow. There are physical wounds which can take months to close. And then there are the emotional ones, some of which can take a long time to heal.

I know you’re tired of dealing with this, but the alternative is infection, corruption, and even death. And though it hurts every day, sometimes in ways you can barely describe, your physician is the most loving, kind, patient caregiver in the universe. He’s not only going to get you well again, he’s going to make you stronger than ever.
