Let’s Be Careful Out There

You don’t have the power to make everyone happy, but you do have the power to keep everyone from making you sad, angry, and afraid. You can’t keep everyone from judging you out their own unbelief, misery, and hate, but you can keep from becoming them by determining to see yourself and them through faith, hope, and love. You can’t control what others think, say and do, but your love, joy, and peace in Jesus will always be the most powerful influence in the room.

“His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7b).

  1. This spoke to me today. I have been trying so hard to please some people in my life. I have not been able to do so and it has troubled me greatly. Thank you as this seemed to be written just for me.
