“Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, so we may rejoice and be glad all our days” (Psalm 90:14).
This world is beautiful, but it’s also broken. The first thoughts you need to reset in your heart and mind every day are that you are increasingly empowered with peace, you have full access to joy, and you are completely and perfectly loved by God, no matter what the day has in store.
Circumstances don’t get to define your peace, and what people do or don’t do doesn’t control your joy. Let your peace come from who God says you are, and your joy from who he wants to be for you today. And determine that your love for others isn’t coming from an old emotional tank that can get emptied and damaged, but is ceaselessly flowing from God, filling you, and overflowing to everyone else.
