Perseverance isn’t “fake it ’til you make it.” Perseverance is living in the joy, hope, and love of what God says is possible until it’s real. It doesn’t rhyme, but it’s true.
“Even in times of trouble, we can have joyful confidence knowing the pressures are developing perseverance. How is that joyful? Because that patient endurance will keep refining our identity and strengthening our character, which will empower us to live in his hope. And this hope is not some disappointing religious fantasy. Through it we can experience the unceasing love of God, overflowing our hearts from the Holy Spirit, who is always with us” (Romans 5:3-5, paraphrased).
I know you may not feel like it yet, but you’ve got this, because he’s got you.
