If this day is particularly difficult (and even if it isn’t), take a deep breath. Take one or two more. Focus on the good things in your life, and thank God for them until the anxious thoughts lose their power—including the ones questioning doing this. It’s not pseudo psychology. It’s part of renewing your mind.
Now listen for his voice. He’s right there with you, wanting to tell you how much he loves you, show you which way to go next, and bless you with all the peace, joy, wisdom, and grace you need to deal with everything ahead of you.
Living in his presence means the challenges you’re facing won’t keep you from your dreams. They’ll train you to brilliantly accomplish them.
“But he answered me, ‘My grace is always more than enough for you, and my power finds its full expression through your weakness’” (2 Corinthians 12:9).
