Three Thoughts

“My love for you is everlasting, and with unending kindness I’ve been inviting you closer to me” (Jeremiah 31:3, paraphrased).

Are you more focused on what others might be thinking about you, or on what God definitely is?

“I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father” (John 14:12).

It’s true you reap what you sow. But it’s also true you can reap everything Jesus has sown.

“God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did” (Romans 4:17b).

Declaring what doesn’t yet exist as though it does isn’t religious hyperbole. It’s the faith to see, and determination to hope in, what God says is possible in his love.
