A Reading from First Corinthians.

Faith, hope, and love aren’t religious platitudes to make wedding ceremonies sound nice. They’re who you are in Jesus every day, and what you get to bring into every relationship and situation in your life.

Faith is your confidence today, because of his faithfulness to you through all the others. Hope is your strength through adversity, because of his unrelenting goodness through everything that’s not. Love is your enduring reality, because it’s who he always is, how he always sees you, and what you always get to do.

No matter what anyone says, does, or doesn’t do today, you get to be confident, strong, and to bring all the love, joy, peace, patience, and kindness you need into it.
