“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened down, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).
“The kingdom of God is . . . righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit” (Romans 14:17).
“Look with wonder at the depth of the Father’s marvelous love he has lavished on us! He has called us and made us his very own beloved children” (1 John 3:1).
“I am convinced nothing can ever separate us from God’s love . . . not our fears of today nor our worries about tomorrow. Not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.” (Romans 8:38).
“Love is patient and kind . . . love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. These three remain forever—faith, hope, and love. And the greatest of these is love” (1 Corinthians 13.4-8,13).
This is just a little of what’s available to you every moment of every day. You have all God’s love and more to deal with what you’re facing. Whatever is trying to frighten, depress, or control you has no chance against love, joy, and peace. Don’t settle for less. Don’t believe the enemy when he lies you’ve disqualified yourself from love. In Christ, you are completely, perfectly, and irrevocably loved.
Before you do anything else, take time to soak your heart and head in that love. Then be intentional with it. Let it be the foundation of your thoughts, words, and actions. Refuse to be anything but blessed and a blessing. Be loved, and be love.
