In Eden, Adam was given the power to define his environment (Gen. 2:19-20). He named every animal God showed him, not in the fear of what it might do, but in the joy of what it was in God’s presence.
You can do the same. You can look at your circumstances in dread, naming each element for what pain and trouble it could give you, and empowering it to do that very thing in your life. Or, you can see each situation in God’s hands, and give it the name of the grace, provision, and revelation he’s made available to deal well with it.
The more you relate to your circumstances from God’s presence, the more heaven on earth you live in. You don’t have to look for an Eden anymore. In Jesus, you are one.
