Good Point

Perhaps for someone besides me—I feel like God’s saying he knows you’re tired, and how pointless some days have seemed. But he’s encouraging you to strengthen yourself in him, and to not to give up pursuing all your heart has been longing for, even the things you can’t define or even describe yet. He’s not being cruel by hiding them, just the opposite. In the adventure of exploring the plans and purposes of your life with him, he’s been training you to live in them brilliantly.

“Suddenly, their eyes were opened, and they recognized Jesus, who at that moment disappeared from their sight. They said to each other, ‘Didn’t our hearts burn within us as he talked with along the road and explained the Scriptures to us?’ ” (Luke 24:31–32).
