“Jesus chose the twelve so they would be with him, and so he could equip them to speak and have authority over sickness and the enemy” (Mark 3:14-15).
One of the most simple, but profound truths in the Bible is that Jesus wants to be with you. You get to live in his presence every day—in his grace, peace, kindness, faith, hope, and love—and overflow all of it into every relationship you have, and every problem you face.
Please remember that, especially on days when you feel like you’re facing the world alone. You are always loved, and always wanted. Everything changes when you stop seeing life as an unending list of things you have to do on your own, and instead as the adventure Jesus has invited you to go on with him.
