It’s Time

My child, the reason you feel drained so quickly each day is that you’re running into life without spending some real time with me.

You never have to be afraid of what I’m going to say to you. I love you beyond your wildest dreams, and everything I have for you is good, to give you hope, and to prepare you for your future. Let me show you how blessed you are, so your circumstances won’t define your peace. Let me bring you to a place of such rest and joy, nothing anyone says or does can shake your thoughts, or poison your heart.

Even when I correct something in your life, it’s not to punish, but to transform you. It’s my heart’s desire to heal and restore you, and my joy every day to encourage, equip, and empower you for the vision I have for your life.

Let me show you how I see you, so you can become as delighted as I am about who you are in me. Let me show you who I am for you right now, so every situation you face, you’ll never face alone. You’ll be certain of my presence, and confident in everything we do together. You won’t get drained like you have been, because you’ll know me as your constant source of strength.

Let your mind be at ease in my peace.

Let your heart be at rest in my love.

Open your Bible.

“I love you with the same love the Father loves me. You must continually let my love nourish your hearts. If you keep my commands, you will live in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands, for I continually live nourished and empowered by his love. My purpose for telling you these things is so that the joy I experience will also be yours, constantly filling your heart to overflowing” (John 15:9-11).
