Your peace isn’t a victim of this quarantine. Your peace in God is so powerful, you’re able to overwhelm every fear, overcome every setback, and deal confidently with every challenge ahead. You get to work in rest, play in rest, and create an atmosphere in which others are able to experience what their own lives look like in his rest.
Breathe. Close your eyes and take a few good, deep breaths. Let Jesus bring your heart and mind into his presence until his peace, hope, joy, grace, and love displace everything that’s not.
“Don’t worry about anything. Instead, bring everything to God in prayer. Tell him what you need, and thank him for all he’s already done. Then you’ll experience God’s peace, which is so far beyond all human reasoning. His peace will guard your heart and secure your mind as you live in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7).
